Weekday Waffles

Easy to make waffles made with oat flour and super seeds.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil or butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond milk, or milk of choice warmed

Instructions

  • Plug in the waffle maker to heat up while making the waffle batter.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, hemp seeds and flax seeds. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, coconut oil or butter and milk. Add to the dry ingredients. Whisk until combined.
  • Add batter to waffle maker. Cook until golden brown.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

If using coconut oil, be sure to warm the milk a little. Cold milk will make the coconut oil solidify.
